Product Review: Lotta Body

Left me with a Lotta Body. So much so, that I gave it back lol. My sister gave this to me because it claimed it was “alright” and since her hair is tighter than mine, I figured it may work better.

So, initially, I just pulled my hair back from the braid out. That was fine. But as the day progressed, it got bigger and bigger. Until I just couldn’t take it and re did the do in the bathroom at work just to realize that I didn’t have enough pins for it. So the next day I was left with no choice but to put it in a bun

As much as I liked the bun, I was not happy overall. The whole point of a braid out is so I don’t have to deal with my hair and I don’t have to put it in a bun, but it was the only style that left my hair with the least amount of maintenance. Once I put my hair in this bun, it never came out. For an entire week. I slept and showered in this bun. For an entire week. Because I didn’t want to deal with it.

The lotta body does leave your hair with moisture but the volume is too much. Now I’m fine with a little body. But it’s really a Lotta Body and for someone with body, aye dios. The day was also humid, so that didn’t help. My only issue was the volume. My hair didn’t feel dry, or sticky, or bad. Just big. I liked how it felt on my natural hair, but it worked pretty good on all parts.

Now I’m going to keep it and try it again, but only because it was spring when I used it and now that it’s summer, my hair will dry out. Between the sun and the AC, it will need help. But I’m going to stick with this product still being “alright” because I don’t completely trust saying it’s great. I will do a follow up review soon. I hope.

This is my hair on Lotta Body. Any questions?
